Supported Living vs. Residential Care
Supported Living vs. Residential Care
Unlike residential care, Supported Living separates housing from support. This means you have legal rights and tenancy of your property, and you choose the support provider. This model promotes greater personal freedom, choice, and control, leading to better long-term outcomes for independence.
